My daughter was 4 years old when she started ballet with Talisha last year. She absolutely loves her classes, which are fun, full of energy and interesting, while also learning the discipline and love of dance. I've been impressed with how well Talisha maintains discipline while allowing the children to be little and have fun. During Lockdown, Talisha went above and beyond to find creative ways to still offer classes to kids. We highly recommend Talisha Pienaar and Cape Ballet Studio!!
Talisha is an amazing teacher and every class with her is an absolute joy! Her attention to detail, constant motivation, and unwavering patience have helped me learn and progress in ballet quickly and consistently. Almost more important to me, however, is that the classes are always extremely enjoyable, in large part due to Talisha's positive attitude and friendly manner. I am very happy with my classes with Talisha!

Cape Ballet Studio has been the most magical introduction to ballet for my daughter Katie. Talisha provides a warm, caring environment for her dancers while maintaining a high standard of teaching. Although she values imaginative experiences for the girls/boys, she always makes sure the correct technique is taught right from the start. Which is exactly what I wanted for Katie. Katie's little world has been enriched greatly by her ballet lessons with Talisha and her friends. I would highly recommend Talisha!

MEET TALISHA
Talisha Pienaar’s great love for the art of ballet started at the age of three and achieved distinction for every major ballet exam she has pursued.
She was accepted into the Cape Town City Ballet company where she danced professionally for two years.
Thereafter, Talisha pursued teaching and qualified with her Cecchetti Associate Degree under the mentorship of esteemed teacher and qualified National examiner, Barbara Lewis. Moreover, she also won the Cecchetti Associate Trophy for the highest honors achieved in her Teachers Exam in the Western Cape, which places her as one of the top upcoming classical ballet teachers.
